New Delhi: India and Iran have taken a step towards strengthening their energy partnership after Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Hardeep Singh Puri met Iranian Petroleum Minister Mohsen Paknejad in New Delhi on Thursday. The meeting focused on exploring new opportunities for collaboration in the energy sector and enhancing bilateral cooperation.
Sharing details about the discussion, Hardeep Puri said that India remains committed to ensuring energy security through constructive dialogue, strategic partnerships, and mutually beneficial engagements. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the BRICS Energy Ministers’ Meeting being held in New Delhi.
