The premiere episode of Lock Upp Season 2: Sach Ya Sazaa wasted no time grabbing viewers’ attention, delivering an explosive mix of emotional confessions, heated confrontations, and unexpected twists. Hosted by Farah Khan and Riteish Deshmukh, the reality show opened with contestants revealing deeply personal secrets, setting the tone for what promises to be an intense season.
One of the biggest moments of the night came when Akanksha Chamola made a personal revelation during an entry task. She shared that she and actor Gaurav Khanna are heading for divorce after nine years of marriage and claimed the two had been living separately for nearly a year.
The revelation quickly became one of the most talked-about moments from the premiere, sparking widespread discussion among viewers on social media.
Another contestant who made headlines was Sunita Ahuja, wife of Bollywood actor Govinda. During her interaction with the hosts, Farah Khan playfully joked about Sunita’s decision to enter a reality show. The conversation soon turned serious as Sunita addressed long-standing rumours surrounding her marriage. Speaking candidly, she suggested that affairs are not uncommon in the film industry and reflected on the challenges relationships face when a third person enters the picture. Her unfiltered remarks quickly became a major talking point online.
Adding to the drama was Uorfi Javed, who arrived with strong accusations aimed at Splitsvilla 16 contestants Yogesh Rawat and Akanksha Choudhary. Questioning their version of past events, Uorfi accused the duo of hiding the truth about their relationship history, leading to an intense exchange on stage. The confrontation escalated further when Roadies fame Shreya Kalra entered the discussion, resulting in a fiery argument between the contestants.
Shreya Kalra also found herself at odds with veteran television actor Ram Kapoor. The two clashed during a heated discussion, with neither willing to back down. Later in the episode, Ram was given the opportunity to choose his cellmate and selected Dheeraj Dhoopar, creating one of the season’s first unexpected pairings.
Dheeraj’s entry was equally entertaining, as Farah Khan jokingly teased him about frequently being compared to Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan. Responding with confidence, Dheeraj took the comparison in good humour, earning laughs from both the hosts and fellow contestants.
The emotional quotient of the episode rose when Harshad Chopda opened up about a painful experience from his past. The actor shared that he had once faced betrayal after his then-girlfriend allegedly cheated on him with his best friend. His emotional confession visibly moved fellow contestant Shivangi Joshi, making it one of the most heartfelt moments of the premiere.
Elsewhere, influencer Sufi Motiwala accused fellow contestant Varun “Laila” Yadav of bullying him at a party, while entrepreneur Madhuri Grover, wife of Ashneer Grover, responded to criticism and allegations related to her professional journey. Their exchanges added another layer of conflict to an already eventful first episode.
With contestants from television, digital entertainment, and business backgrounds sharing the same space, the season has already established a clear clash of personalities. The premiere showcased rivalries, emotional disclosures, and strategic gameplay, hinting at an unpredictable competition ahead.
Featuring a prize pool of Rs 1 crore and a six-week format, Lock Upp Season 2: Sach Ya Sazaa has begun with plenty of controversy and drama, leaving viewers eager to see how relationships, rivalries, and alliances evolve in the episodes to come.
