Government Cuts Ujjwala LPG Subsidy Coverage to Four Cylinders Annually. Know The Reason

The Centre has revised the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) by reducing the number of LPG cylinders eligible for subsidy from nine to four per year. While the annual subsidised refill limit has been lowered, the government will continue providing a subsidy of Rs 300 per 14.2-kg cylinder directly to beneficiaries' bank accounts.
