PM Modi Likely To Address SRCC Students On September 5

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to visit Delhi’s prestigious Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) on September 5, coinciding with Teachers’ Day, according to sources.

The proposed visit comes at a significant time for the institution, as SRCC is completing 100 years. PM Modi is expected to take part in the college’s centenary celebrations and interact with students during his visit.

A key focus of the programme is likely to be a direct interaction between the Prime Minister and Gen Z students. The session could give young people an opportunity to share their views, aspirations and concerns with the Prime Minister.

The proposed engagement also comes amid the BJP’s broader Gen Z outreach initiative, through which the party is seeking to establish stronger communication with young Indians and first-time voters.

The BJP has recently formed a dedicated team for its youth outreach programme, with senior leaders as well as younger representatives expected to participate in activities aimed at understanding the priorities and expectations of the younger generation.

The outreach is expected to focus on direct dialogue and participation, with issues such as education, employment, entrepreneurship, technology, innovation and India’s future likely to remain important areas of discussion.

Located in Delhi University’s North Campus, SRCC is among India’s leading institutions for Commerce, Economics and Management. The college’s centenary celebrations are therefore expected to add significance to the Prime Minister’s proposed interaction with students.
