Actor Govinda has finally broken his silence on the recent remarks made by his wife, Sunita Ahuja, regarding their personal life and their son Yash’s career. In a candid interview, the actor dismissed all allegations and said every major decision he has taken was for the safety and future of his family. He clarified that his decision to step away from politics was driven by concern for his children, as he did not want any external influence to affect them.
The tension surfaced after Sunita claimed in an interview that their son, Yash, has received no professional help from his father. She expressed frustration that Yash had to give nearly 100 auditions despite being a star kid. Sunita even compared Govinda to other industry legends like Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan, who actively support their children’s launches, reportedly asking Govinda, “What kind of father are you?”

In a recent interview, Govinda denied all the accusations made against him. Addressing questions about his son’s Bollywood journey, Govinda said he has made efforts to support Yash by connecting him with industry professionals. He revealed that producer Sajid Nadiadwala has personally guided Yash and helped him understand the process of filmmaking. Industry reports suggest that Sajid may also launch Yash in an upcoming big-budget horror film titled Hundred, with Laapataa Ladies fame actress Nitanshi Goel expected to play the female lead.
Married for nearly 38 years, Govinda and Sunita have frequently found themselves in the spotlight in recent times.
