Delhi Police Nab Two Suspects Linked to Firing Outside Guru Randhawa-Associated Gym

Delhi Police have arrested two alleged members of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang in connection with the firing incident outside a gym linked to Punjabi singer Guru Randhawa in the Paschim Vihar area of the national capital. Investigators said one of the accused had recently returned to India from Russia shortly before the incident.

The accused, identified as Arman and Tushar, both residents of Haryana’s Sonipat district, were taken into custody following a police operation in Bahadurgarh. Authorities believe the duo was directly involved in the attack that took place in the early hours of June 11.

According to police, two motorcycle-borne assailants allegedly fired multiple rounds outside the fitness centre located on Delhi’s Outer Ring Road before fleeing the spot. No injuries were reported in the incident, though investigators recovered several empty cartridges from the scene.

Officials claim the arrested suspects were operating on behalf of gangster Anil Pandit, who is believed to be associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi network and is reportedly based abroad. The arrests came after a multi-day manhunt launched by the Crime Branch.

The case gained widespread attention after a social media post surfaced claiming responsibility for the firing. Investigators are examining the authenticity of the post and its possible links to the accused. Authorities are also probing the motive behind the attack and whether other individuals were involved in planning or facilitating the incident.

Police said further investigation is underway to identify additional suspects and uncover the full extent of the conspiracy behind the shooting.
