Authorities have launched large-scale search and area-domination exercises in vulnerable regions as part of efforts to prevent further violence and maintain law and order.
According to officials, joint teams comprising state police, central security forces, and other agencies carried out coordinated operations in districts including Kangpokpi, Churachandpur, and Thoubal.
Security checkpoints and monitoring posts have also been strengthened to regulate movement and respond swiftly to any untoward incidents.
